Wahawk Athletics

  The Long Range Planning committee comprised of RayeJean Becker, Jeff Frost, Jeff Halverson, Jeff Knief, Marijo Petullo and Alice Shirey made a recommendation to the Athletic Booster Club at the April 14 meeting.
  Their recommendation is to support the construction of a second gym. The gym would be a free standing, steel building, located NW of the new entrance. The facility would house a court, stadium seating, and include a running track. The estimated cost is $600,000.
The committee recommends that the Booster Club set aside money at the end of the year for this project.
  Long Range Planning also recommends a steering committee be established to develop a fund raising plan, solicit donations and provide oversight for this project.
