The 2008 edition of Waterloo West Wahawk football has officially begun practice. Both the 9th/10th Grade and Varsity squads participated in individual morning practices, and completed their 1st day with a combined evening practice. Although workouts are without pads, the players were plenty active, with agility, passing, and general conditioning drills following their initial meeting in the West High Team Room.
Two a Day practices will continue this week, and for the 1st three days next week, before classes begin on the 21st. Stop by West High's football fields and check out the action.
Photos from today's 1st practice are posted in the "Photos" Section.
