The Wahawk Boys Soccer team advance to the quarterfinal round of Class 2A Sub-State soccer with a 9-1 victory over Waterloo East this afternoon at Sloane Wallace Soccer Stadium. West came out with a flurry of quick goals in the early minutes, and led at halftime 8-1.

West returns to action against Cedar Falls in the the semi-final round of Sub-State #5 on Tuesday (May 20th). The contest begins at 6:30pm, at the Cedar Valley Youth Soccer Association Complex (Ridgeway Ave. and Dewitt Rd).

Linn-Mar advances
In the 1st game of Sub-State #5 action today (May 17th), Linn-Mar defeated Mason City 2-0.
